Kristin Lorey-Nissen (she / her /hers) is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit and talent leader with 15+ years of experience working for at the intersection of education, art, and social impact. Kristin specializes in full-cycle hiring and recruitment support with a commitment to inclusion and equity, values-based talent practices, and building inclusive cultures.

Kristin currently works at Partnership for Los Angeles Schools as the Sr. Director of Home Office Talent. Previously she has held talent, operations, and programmatic roles at Young Storytellers, Every Monday Matters, 826LA, Invisible Children, Liberty in North Korea, and as an education program consultant with the Broad Museum. She is also a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher.

In her spare time, Kristin loves to travel, participate in her long-running book club, tend to her many (maybe too many) houseplants, and spend time with her husband, young son, and cats.
